M3UFlow Privacy Policy

M3UFlow is a Chrome extension designed to play M3U and M3U8 playlists. We believe a simple media player should not require unnecessary personal information.

In short: M3UFlow does not sell personal information, does not use advertising trackers, and does not intentionally collect information about the channels you watch or the playlists you use.

1. Information handled by M3UFlow

M3UFlow is designed to work with playlist and playback information supplied by the user. Local playlist files selected by the user are processed for playback and are not intentionally uploaded to the M3UFlow developer.

Any playlist URL entered by the user is used to retrieve the playlist requested by the user and provide playback functionality. M3UFlow does not intentionally create a profile of the user's viewing activity.

2. Personal information

M3UFlow does not require you to create an account and does not intentionally collect names, addresses, telephone numbers, browsing history, or viewing profiles through the extension.

3. Cookies, advertising and analytics

The M3UFlow extension does not intentionally use advertising trackers or sell user data to advertisers. The extension does not use personal information for targeted advertising.

4. Pro licensing

M3UFlow Pro may use a third-party payment and license-verification service to process purchases and verify a valid license. Payment information is handled by the payment provider rather than stored by M3UFlow.

When the Pro licensing system is active, only the information necessary to verify the license should be transmitted to the licensing service. The payment provider's own privacy policy also applies to information submitted during a purchase.

5. Third-party services and media sources

M3UFlow can play media from playlist sources selected or entered by the user. Those external websites, servers, streaming providers, and media services are independent of M3UFlow and may have their own privacy policies and data practices.

You should only use playlists and streams that you are authorized to access.

6. Data security

We take reasonable steps to avoid unnecessary collection of personal information. No software or Internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so users should use trusted playlist sources and keep their browser and operating system up to date.

7. Children's privacy

M3UFlow is not designed to collect personal information from children. We do not knowingly request personal information from children through the extension.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when M3UFlow's functionality or third-party services change. The current version will be published at this URL, with the update date shown above.
